Summer passes and Autumn comes. Here comes the Mid-autumn Day of 2010. In China, Mid-Autumn is a time for family members to gather and enjoy the full moon, which is an auspicious symbol of abundance, harmony and luck. However, there are groups of people, especially foreign workers, who cannot go home to celebrate the festival with their families. Therefore, in order to allow our foreign employees to have this festival celebrated, the AUPO organizes the “BO BING” (a kind of dice game) activity to let all of the AUPO members experience the original tradition in Xiamen.

Easy to play though, the games have quite complicated rules which are hard to remember. So the organizers thoughtfully print the rules out to help our people to remember. All the "BO BING" game requires are six dice and a china bowl. Just throw the dice into the bowl - and the different pips you get stand for different ranks of awards you will win. Hence, during the time, when walking along the sites where the activity is held, there are pleasant silvery sounds of the dice rolling, and cheers of winning or loss are everywhere.

The “BO BING” activity ends happily and harmoniously. All of us returned home with prizes and specially, smiles on our faces. What more important are the joy and warmth that shared by all the AUPO members.
